Please join your fellow Illini to volunteer with Gleaners Community Food Bank to distribute food to people in Detroit on Wednesday, June 3rd.

What to expect

• Your experience will begin with a short orientation.
• Volunteers will assist with loading food into car trunks outside.
• Volunteer will be needed to help direct traffic - volunteers will be provided with flags, a vest, flashlights when needed and walkie talkies to communicate with us and each other.
• Helping restock as needed.
• If you have food allergies, such as nuts, you are advised to exercise caution when determining whether or not to participate.
